This week I was to head to the houston area for work but that got canceled due to a tropical storm Edouard or something like that. So I am in DFW for a short 18 days eep! Then I go to vegas for vacation. I am headed to see a friend of mine and her mom that live not to far from there. It should be a good trip to escape the busy schedule of work I usually have. Finally getting on a plane that doesn’t involve going for work. I can’t wait to go hiking, sitting out looking at stars and just spending time with good friends. I am blessed. Truly blessed.
I hadnt been running in awhile but went yesterday in the 107 degree heat. cant imagine it cooled off any by 7ish. So I ran 1.25 miles then died near my car. No worries I am alive once again. The miracle of water and gatorade. Oh and i ran with water. Or I dont think I would have gone even that far. I will go another time this week maybe 2x since im home afterall.
Not alot more to tell you. El Paso was beautiful last week. I got to see all of el paso, Juarez, Mexico and some of New Mexico from the side of the mountain at a look out at night. The lights were beautiful. It was fun with coworkers and jsut nice to be out and about for once. usually im stuck in the hotel.
I also managed to drive and see my aunt and uncle at their house not too far from there. I hadn’t seen them in years. They all seem to be doing pretty good and in good spirit. I miss them so much. So now I have people to see when I go down to El Paso for work. YAY!
